In a place that will delight you, between the Périgord Noir and Bergerac, on the hills overlooking the Dordogne River, Isabelle and Pierre-Yves Kuster will make you discover one of the most beautiful and rigorous traditional breeding of geese and ducks. They will know how to share their passion for these animals that they nurse for several months with a lot of care before making (not without regrets) all these wonderful livers, rillettes, confit and other good things of which their numerous and loyal customers feast.
One hundred and twenty hectares of meadows, forests and crops (we produce part of the cereals necessary for feeding animals), a preserved territory, a farm focused on both geese and ducks (tour possible) and on tourism, (campsite, homeholiday, motorhomes), recreation and holidays, with on-site or nearby: fishing, walking, cycling, horse riding, golf and the most beautiful sites of Périgord in a radius of 60 km.
Our production
We make foie gras and homemade preparations with recipes from Périgord.
These preparations are made without additives, chemical preservatives, dyes or flavor enhancers, from geese and farmed ducks. Our fabrications are carried out in facilities approved to CEE standards and controlled by the services of the state (veterinary services and repression of frauds). By rigor and deontology, even philosophy, we imposed ourselves a specification respectful of traditional practices consistent, guaranteeing you a healthy and tasty product.
A family story since 1982
1982: The year of our arrival in Périgord and the beginning of this beautiful adventure initiated by my father Michel.
What a long way since! Years of work, patience, feathers, feathers, feathers … and always the pleasure to welcome you and talk to you about the job.
Finally, as one of our authors puts it so well: “I suffered often, I was wrong sometimes, but I liked it.” And when we love …
There would still be a lot to detail, but come see me, I’ll tell you more …
As soon as we settled in this beautiful department to practice this farming profession, we wanted to match our production methods with the respect we have for nature and our environment.
